As a ceramic studio artist I focus on making functional pottery. By striving for a modern aesthetic that combines form and design, I hope my pieces enhance the rituals of daily life in an artful way.

Clay has been an important part of my life for over 25 years. My studio time has been enhanced by my experiences in the classroom; whether through individual projects, workshops or school-wide collaborative ceramic installations.

I am driven by my passion to create, to use my hands and to be part of an arts tradition. Working with clay is a very satisfying endeavor and an ongoing commitment as I continue to grow as an artist.
